Set up and run your first show.

Install, load clips, mix, add effects, map it onto a surface and go live — the whole workflow, start to finish.

Pro-grade power. Consumer-grade ease. The real-time compositor VJs and venues have been overpaying for — rebuilt open, affordable, and actually easy to drive.

01 How it works

The whole show, three moves.

1 PLAY

Mix like an instrument

Fire clips and columns to launch whole scenes. Layers, blends, transforms and per-clip effect chains — composited live on the GPU, no render wait.

2 MAP

Onto any surface

Warp any region of the canvas onto projectors and LED walls — keystone, mask and soft-edge blend. The hard part of a media server, made drivable.

3 CONTROL

From anything, anywhere

MIDI, OSC and DMX in, from the gear you already own. A phone remote is being developed now.

02 The engine

/01Layers, clips & columns

Composite clips, generators and effects in real time. Fire a column to launch a whole scene at once — each layer with its own opacity, blend mode, transform and chain.

/02Real-time GPU effects

Drop an effect on a whole layer or a single clip — invert, mirror, saturation, crop, RGB-shift and more — reordered and re-tuned live, no render wait.

/03The Mapping Surface

Warp, mask and edge-blend content regions onto any physical surface. The hardest part of a media server, turned into something a non-technical operator can drive.

/04Phone remote — in development

Being developed now for Pro: fire columns and clips, ride layer levels and the crossfader from a phone on your own network. No app to install.

/05Control input

MIDI, OSC and DMX (Art-Net / sACN) in — as control. Drive Raedia from the pads, faders and lighting desk you already own.

03 Map anything

One canvas, mapped to every surface in the room.

Send different regions of your composition to projectors and LED walls — both reached over standard display output, no processor voodoo.

Projectors — keystone warp, soft-edge blend and masking onto any angled or curved surface.
LED walls — driven as one contiguous display, mapped region-by-region.
Regions — divide one canvas into areas, each routed and colour-matched to its surface.
04 Why Raedia

Built for the people actually running the show.

Priced for real venues

Real-time visuals and mapping without an enterprise licence. Affordable, and available now.

Drivable the same day

The mapping surface a non-technical operator can actually drive — not a specialist-only tool.

Output-native mapping

Projectors and LED walls over standard HDMI / DisplayPort — no external processors in the chain.

Remote in your pocket — in development

A phone remote for Pro is being developed now. No app to install, no extra hardware.

Rust engine, no bloat

A wgpu compositor written in Rust — GPU-native, lean, and fast where it counts.

Open by design

Standard formats, standard control protocols — Raedia fits the rig you already own.

05 How it compares

One app for mix, map and LED — built to be driven, not studied.

Most tools are brilliant at one half of the job. Raedia brings real-time mixing, projection mapping and LED-wall output into a single Windows app a non-technical operator can actually run.

08 FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Raedia?
Raedia is a GPU-native media server for live visuals. You mix layers and clips like an instrument, add real-time effects, then map the output onto the projectors and LED walls in the room. It's built in Rust on a wgpu engine and runs on Windows.
Is Raedia a Resolume alternative?
Yes. Raedia delivers professional-grade real-time compositing and mapping, rebuilt to be affordable and genuinely easy to drive — including a mapping surface a non-technical operator can actually use. It sits alongside tools like Resolume, MadMapper and HeavyM in the projection-mapping and VJ space.
Does Raedia do projection mapping?
Yes. The Mapping Surface warps, masks and soft-edge-blends regions of your canvas onto any physical surface — angled or curved projection, or LED walls driven as one contiguous display. Both are reached over standard HDMI / DisplayPort, with no external processors in the chain.
What can I map onto — projectors, LED walls, or both?
Both. Projectors get keystone warp, masking and soft-edge blend; LED walls are driven as one display and mapped region-by-region. You divide one canvas into regions, each routed and colour-matched to its surface.
What control protocols does Raedia support?
MIDI, OSC and DMX (Art-Net / sACN) — as control input. Drive Raedia from the gear you already own. A phone remote is being developed now.
What is the difference between Core and Pro?
Both mix, play and put a clean picture on a screen. Core sends the full frame to one screen. Pro is the one that maps: regions, corner and mesh warp, masks, edge blend and extra outputs, plus MIDI, OSC and DMX control and NDI / Spout out. The 7-day trial is the full Pro version. Compare Core and Pro.
Which platforms does it run on, and how do I get it?
Raedia is available now for Windows. Start a free 7-day trial of the full Pro version, then choose Core or Pro: pay monthly, or buy it once and keep it forever with a year of updates — or try the interactive demo in your browser right now.
Where is the user guide and full feature list?
The Raedia user guide covers install through running a live show. The features & specifications page has the complete matrix, system requirements and licensing model.
